18 Malayalis in Interpol’s ‘Wanted’ List!
Santhosh Madhavan is just the tip of Interpol’s ‘Wanted’ iceberg. There are over 18 Malayalis in the red corner notice of Interpol!
A preliminary search on the Interpol portal shows that among the 200 odd people wanted by Interpol from India for various offences, 18 people from the state have found a place in the Interpol’s ‘Wanted’ list for crimes committed in and outside the country.
Most of them are wanted for offences like fraud, forgery, illegal trafficking and counterfeiting currency.
Dr Omana Edadan — the lady doctor who killed her husband, dissected his body and kept the pieces in a suitcase in Ooty — figures prominently in the list.
