Good decision.

Other states too should take cue from Punjab govt and ban doctors seeing medical reps during the consultation hours. This is rampant in Tamil Nadu. Docs prescribe all costly medicines advised by the medical reps. I found on several occasions that the medicines prescribed by docs are only available from the shops in the same vicinity, not otherwise. I believe that there must be a strong nexus between the docs -medical cos and medical stores. And we poor patients are at the receiving end.
