Indian football to play against Gouevia Select in Portugal
New Delhi, July 4 (IANS) The Indian football team, on its two-week practice-cum-exposure trip to Portugal, will play their first practice match against Gouveia Select in the mountain city of Gouveia, Sunday.
According to information received here, the 27-member Indian team arrived in Portugal, Thursday for their second training stint. Last year also they trained for couple of weeks in Portugal before winning the maiden Nehru Cup title at home.
This time they will play three practice match and will train in the mountain city of Gouveia till Monday.
After the game, Gouveia city Mayor will host a dinner for the Indian team in the presence of India's ambassador to Portugal.
