Let Communities not divided by Caste based politics. If so the alternates to justify its existance- A review.

The ongoing agitations in the country and the urge of communities seeking S.T status is highly alarming the social fabric of Indian constitutional crisis.

The reasons for all backward castes seeking Scheduled castes / Scheduled tribes is due to the abundant opportunities & concessions available for S.T / S.C factors.
As such the scenario of classifications in S.C & S.T list is not updated since 1931 and the opportunity for regularizing all backward castes during 2001 census has missed its target and we have no specific data on the number of people belonging to these categories.
Hence there is an urgent need to take a clear survey in the forthcoming census in 2011 to identify all caste based data to let the government formulate the social justice programs & implement plans for uplifting the poor and needy.
Whole issue of reservations / Quota system in educations, employment opportunities needs a review; there by avoid further damage to social fabric of communal based schemes.
Our political parties always take the advantage of patronizing Vote Bank politics by inducing & influencing minorities and backward classes to remain in power.

Supreme Court of India wants to sort out issues after a fresh census and prefers to further discussions, debates and formulations on how the Governments in Central & State can formulate schemes to improve the economic standards of back ward classes.
Unless we have the updates of caste based data, we cannot do justifications to all communities.
Either the Government be prepared for a casteless society or caste based society, no developments are possible to uplift its citizens prosperity.
We will be forced to witness agitations and boycott of various communities for the fundamental rights.
The basic objective of any country is to improve its citizen’s prosperity and offer equality in status and of opportunity.
No citizen should be deprived of their fundamental rights in obtaining their educational, employment opportunities because of his / her religion, race, caste, or place of birth.
Once this is clear, there is no need for any hue & cry in the society.

All the efforts of legendary stalwart Ram Mohan Roy, Vinobha Bhave and many social reformists who fought for casteless society become null and void due to the present politicians encouraging caste based politics to ensure their victory & capturing power.

The Truth is that none of the political parties have the guts to declare in open that they are not in favour of casteless society as every one banks upon caste based politics to survive in this competitive electoral collage.
What are more alarming are Poor remains poorer, Rich is getting richer day by day and this huge difference makes the fate of our communities to suffer more and more.

No where in the World, except in our India communities comes up in Queue to seek backward status to corner state sponsored incentives and concessions.
One thing is certain, that more we opt for reservations and concessions on the basis of castes and religion, all those bright and able people will remain as second & third rated citizens.

Let there be some positive thinking and actions by all citizens to release from the clutches of casteism & favouritism.
