New Delhi/Rajkot/Jalandhar/Kochi, Apr 27(ANI): The Indian board has suspended spinner Harbhajan Singh temporarily pending a disciplinary hearing into a slapping incident involving compatriot S Sreesanth in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match. Reportedly, Harbhajan had slapped the young fast bowler Sreesanth after Friday night's match. The hearing will be held in New Delhi and the final verdict will be announced by match adjudicator and referee Farokh Engineer.
Harbhajan Singh has been temporarily suspended from the Indian Premier League by the match referee Farokh Engineer. Harbhajan Singh, the Mumbai Indians stand-in captain, had allegedly slapped Kings XI Punjab pacer S Sreesanth on Friday night. Earlier, match referee Farokh Engineer, who was adjudicating into the row involving Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth, said both the parties would be summoned and he would consider video evidence, if any, to find the truth.
